Welcome Everyone to JJS 2018. The children have settled in extremely well and it has been such a pleasure to meet our new families. We are concentrating on establishing our classroom community at the moment through getting to know you activities.
The Shep news will be at school on February 19th to photograph the children for this years Prep feature!
We had a wonderful time at our shape party! Thank you to all the parents and carers who provided some amazingly shaped food for us to share !
We have been learning about shapes in our classroom.It has been fun making pictures with our pattern blocks.

Welcome back to term 4 everyone! We kick off the term with our swimming week! The children have been super organised and having a ball in the water. It has been so wonderful to watch their happy
Our Book week culminated in our book parade on Friday.
JJS had been involved in doing an author study of Pamela Allen books all week. We had done many activities related to this authors books and enjoyed tasting some brown bread and honey while we listened to the story!
On Friday when we were trying to choose one favourite book we decided we loved all the books that Pamela Allen has written!
Well the Foundation students have now been at school for 100 days!! We made a list of all the things we have done in that time and it was HUGE!! Something strange happened to us all on the one hundredth day…have a look at these photos!!!!!!
What a lovely time we had at the farm! We saw many living and non-living things and we just loved Mr Poole’s little dog Phoebe and his cat Cricket.We went on a very cool bush walk and we even saw Mrs Poole feeding the baby animals. The sun was shining and we had a wonderful morning!
